Two things for you guys today.
First off my R2.5 got some scratches in the clear coat under the BB from being set on a stand at the shop, have any of you fixed this kind of scratch with nail polish?
And second, when you are setting up the front derailleur the cable is sitting on the frame after it goes through the BB cable guide is that cool are have any of you done something to fix that?

If the scratch is just in the clear coat nail polish will be fine.
Just run the cable through a short piece of cable liner where it contacts the frame by the BB.
Yep-the BB on the 2.5 is huge. I didn’t use the cable liner and have kept an eye on it and nothing seems to be happening. The scratch in the CC is nothing to worry about structurally. Nail polish will work to make the scratch less noticeable - E
I think that you need to send that bike to me for inspection…I will test it for the season to make certain that the frame is safe with that scratch…I am only looking out for you buddy…
