Cervelo P2c v. Felt B2 v. QR Lucero

Hello,

Component group being equal which of these three bikes, current year model, would you choose and why? I chose these because they spec a taller head tube then other bikes I have rode. I am Dan’s ‘longlegged Greg’ he has in the bike picker in that I have longer legs than torso, am 6’0 and am trying to stay around 3k. Also, because of age and back surgery I can’t get too aggressive, again, taller head tube. Unfortuantely he probably won’t get to this essay for awhile and times running out on me, so I come to you, the oracles of all things tri!!

Thanx,

Brian

Aren’t these the lowest head tube bikes in the market? And aren’t all of them above 3k?
Any way I would go with the P3C if lower is the way to go and budget is no problem.
On the contrary I would go with the P2C or the Seduza that have a taller head tube and is within the 3k budget.

Hey Brian, I haven’t looked at the cervelo or felt but I do have the 07 lucero and specifically picked that model for the shorter headtube so not sure where you are getting the info re: that specific frame having a tall headtube?? The top tube on the 700c lucero was actually lower then my 650c KM40 because of the short headtube so maybe in your frame size the headtube is taller? I would suggest maybe doublechecking your info because as the other poster mentioned, the frames you’ve mentioned all spec some of the shorter headtubes available right now
I love my lucero though

Not the Lucero, I buy into aerodynamics. The B2 would fit me quite wonderfully while the P2C may take a tweak or two.

I am the same body type: long leg, short torso. Went with the 56 P2C beacuse of the longer head tube. The lucero looks like an awsome bike but I was between a MD and a LG. The MD head tube too short and the LG top tube too long. I am set up with 12 cm of drop. The nice thing with the P2C is you can easily go less steep if needed.
