Yes, I’ll sell the Zipps separately AFTER I sell the frame/fork/post.
As the message says…I haven’t done my homework yet on pricing so make reasonable offers.
As a reference, Cervelo P2Cs retail for $1995 new (this frame has never been ridden outside)
As another reference, Zipp 999s retail for $2450 new (these are 2 years old, but have less than 400 miles on them…2 Ironmans and 2 70.3s)
Cheers,
Jonathan C. Puskas
In a perfect World, someone would want the who set-up (complete bike plus Zipps)…The person who makes offers for the complete bike will get priority.
Your math fails to include the Campy Record Derailleurs, FSA Bars/Stem, Shifters, Brake levers, Crankset…
C’mon $3300 for a new P2C with Campy and Zipp 999s…That would be just a little insane…
As it stands, $3900 ain’t cheap, but this bike ain’t stock either. Heck, If you bought the Stock bike and added Zipps (no Campy, lesser bars, lesser levers, etc.), you’d still be at $5500 retail…
With that said, I’m open to justified offers.
In short, it’s a COMPLETE (ready-to-race) new Cervelo P2C with a mix of very lightly used top-end Campy and FSA parts along with a Zipp 999 set for $3900…
The reality is that the pricing reflects that I’m more interested in selling the frame/fork/post/headset/brakes than I am in selling the drivetrain (which I’ll simply transfer to my next bike).
This is basically straight wholesale for the frame/fork/post/headset/brakes…I may have a few other components lying around to sweeten the deal (not the Record stuff) for an interested buyer of the frame/fork/etc…
I’ve had some interest in the frame/fork/post from a number of people. However, I’ve lost a few Email so hit me again if you are interested.
I’d also consider trading the 999s for some 606 clinchers or 909 clinchers. I might throw in a few bucks as well (I’m switching to clinchers because it will be easier to lend them to some of my clients/friends that way…None of them really want to borrow tubulars because of the “mystique”).
To answer a few more questions I’ve received…Here are the options:
Frame/Fork/Post/Cervelo Brakes/Dura Ace Front Derailleur: $1600
Complete bike with Cervelo Brakes, FSA Crankset, Mavic Aksium wheels: $2800
Complete bike with Cervelo Brakes, FSA Crankset, Zipp 999s: $3900
Complete bike as pictured (with new Campy Compact Ultratorque Crankset and Zero G Ti brakes) including Zipps: $4400
Complete bike as pictured (with Campy Cranks and Zero G brakes) no Zipps, but incl. Aksiums: $3300
Complete bike as pictured with Zipps AND Aksiums: $4650 (I’ll include the shipping in this deal)
Zipps alone (with tires and Dura Ace cassette): $1700
Here are the other parts specifics:
FSA Base Bar
FSA Carbon Clip-ons
FSA Brake Levers
Salsa Bar Tape (Orange)
Ritchey Pro Stem (or Syntace)
Campy Record Rear Derailleur
Campy Record Carbon CT Front Derailleur (with Campy Ultratorque 50/34 option above) or Dura Ace 7800 FD with FSA Carbon Crankset (53/39) option
Cervelo Brakeset or Zero Gravity Ti brakeset (see pricing above)
Mavic Aksium Wheelset with Campy Chorus 12/25 Cassette or Zipps with Dura Ace 11/23 Cassette or BOTH (see above)…The DA works fine with Campy
Campy Record Bar End shifters
Mavic Quick Release
Saddle not included (Fizik Alliante Carbon Rails), pedals (Speedplay X2) not included. I can include them for an additional $175 (total).
Shipping should be around $60.
In short, this is basically like getting P2C with MAJOR upgrades for the same price as a stock P2C (which has a less impressive parts kit).
Would you be interested in a trade? I would imagine that we would keep our own wheels as my wheels aren’t as good. I have a 54" Argon 18 mercury. Tjborn used at Hawaii a couple of years ago. It is shimano integra 10 speed. It has american classic aero wheelset. Awsome bike and very fast. It is black in colour! Thanks for any consideration.
