Besides color and the front fork, what is the different between a 2008 and 2009 P2C?
Are there any differences between the DA and Ultegra frames, other than paint?
Thanks

Don’t downplay the difference that new front fork makes. The 3T fork is quite awesome.
I guess my question is: Is it worth $300 to get a new one versus a brand new bike from last year?
What allows you to distinguish the difference?
My results since I got it.
In truth, I made several changes at once mid-season last year and I think they all contributed to some nice improvements. I had the old Wolf fork (not the recalled one) on my P3C and swapped it out for the 3T fork. I also got some new HED Jets. I started PR-ing everything I did from that point on … and sometimes by large margins (and I’m no spring chicken). I can’t isolate the contribution of the fork, but I’ve run some different wheels with it a time or two and it still comes up faster than the same bike with the old fork. (Note that the HED Jets replaced a Zipp 808/Sub-9 combination … no slouch wheels I was using before.) There are lots of variables, so it’s a subjective assessment … but I’d be really happy if the competitors in my age group didn’t read this and didn’t get a 3T fork.
this is totally anecdotal - but i just got a 2007 p2c and it has the 3T fork.
I can’t get over how nice the front end of this bike rides. Granted I am coming off a QR tequilo, but still…it’s amazing how it soaks up road buzz.
I haven’t heard about the 3t fork yet. What’s so great about it? I have the old wolf non-recalled one right now.

Here’s what “Mr. Cervelo” said about it in a post last May:
"The P2C Ultegra comes with the Wolf, the P2C DuraAce comes with the 3T Funda. The 3T Funda is more aero, lighter and laterally stiffer than the TrueTemper Wolf. "

Don’t waste your cash on the 3T fork. Yes, the Wolf TT is heavier and features a slightly thicker frontal profile, but it is an excellent fork nonetheless (stiffer than, for example, the Easton Aero EC90). It won’t hold you back at all.
