I have a frame with the number SNP2C06L00001 - could this be the 1st frame in 2006?

For your sake I hope not. I wouldn’t want to go 50mph downhill on the first manufactured copy of anything. 
Seriously, I’d also assume that the earliest production frames in any run probably end up as demos, photo models, trade show displays or something similar. Interesting question - I’m interested to see the answer from someone in the know.
I think (After going through some of the forum stuff on cervelo’s website), the first part means it’s a P2C manufactured in December of '06, which would make it the 2007 model year. (the 06 is the year, and the L refers to the month).
Nothing about if they are numbered sequentially or not, but it would make sense.
