Cervelo Dual guys.....how do you secure your rig to your work stand?

I don’t have mine here yet, but by all accounts it has an ovalized/tear drop seat tube…seatpost is the same. I don’t want it to arrive and then find out I need something special to secure it during build up. I can only go by looks and the top tube ‘appears’ to be round, but knowing Cervelo’s penchant for aero I would bet there is some kind of shaping to it.

Is the top tube round enough to get it in the clamp safely?

Thule makes a neat little bar for transporting bikes on their racks that I used for my TTX, but I sold it with the TTX!

Is this a non issue or do you use something special?

Why did you go from a TTX to a dual?

Clamp the seatpost. You should be able to hold the bike securely with the clamp on the sides or fore/aft.

TTX was too small.

I’m after the right body position…frame material is a distant 4th or 5th option for me, preferably NOT carbon actually.

The top tube is round.

Nicccccceeeeeeee. I’m hoping it gets here by this weekend, but doubtful. I’m like a kid in a candy store.
