Cervelo Breakfast Cereal?!? (can be a spolier)

–Picture Deleted–

What was originally created via photoshop as a joke, as in a ha-ha-ha- laugh laugh laugh- tee hee- was taken so out of proportion by the "why does everyone love cervelo- they are not that special, other bikes are just as good if not better -etc " crowd. So I deleted it. Come on guys, this was a JOKE, done in jest- to laugh, not to start a what did ‘fill in the rider’s name’ eat for breakfast thread. I could have easliy put Lance and Trek or Vino or Ullrich with Giant on that box. lighten up and laugh for once.

This is probably the crap Basso ate at the Giro when he got sick.

Let me say I think Cervelo’s are great bikes and I really enjoy Gerard’s posts on this forum.

But . . . I am so sick and tired of the whole Cervelo is the best bike ever crap that is posted here all the time.

Face it CSC has some great riders - so do the other teams - all the bikes weigh the same (rules) are all researched to death. It’s more about the riders than the bikes.

If everyone here really thought it was the bike that mattered you would all be riding frigin Trek’s, since they continue to win the major tours.

Is this the same cereal David Z was eating this morning?

amen

Except for R10C…he’s allergic to Trek and Shimano…

It’s funny, as I don’t like that very much either. But at the same time, there is also no other brand that gets villified here as much, partly in a reaction to the over the top posts, partly I guess because that is what you do when somebody is riding high, you cut them down. I guess I could do without both extremes, but I doubt it will change much. For some “balance”, you can always watch OLN. Trek and Specialized, as sponsors of the Tour coverage, are the best there. I promise I won’t become a sponsor of that show, otherwise you’ll really get a rash.
