Century Rides: Race or Training Wheels?

In preparation for IM Florida, I am going to do several century rides. Better to use my training wheels or race wheels (Hed 3 front/Hed Disk)?

Training wheels if the century is a training ride (or just an organized event)

Race wheels if the century is a race for time and prize money.
