Did anyone else stare at the that Viper on display like a kid in a candy store in Madison? I looked up the frame…$4695 for just the frame! I don’t know if it’ll make me fast enough to park my Kalibur and spend that kind of money, but it sure was pretty!
Does anyone know what the aerobar setup on it was exactly? They were uncomfortable as heck, but boy they looked hot. I asked the guy and he said the bike just came from a show in Europe so it was something special, but he never really said what exactly it was.
Hello,
I was working the booth at Madison. The bars on the Viper were the Shimano Pro Missile Bars. You can find out more info here. The bikes came from a show in Europe and they are not part of the standard build kit for the US bikes. The US bikes will be coming with Profile Volna, CX3, or T2+. The Missiles look pretty aggressive, but not sure if I would want to ride those for any kind of distance. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks for the complements on the bikes.

That’s them. Sexiest aerobar setup I’ve seen in person.
Sent a black one out the door just the other day. They look so much better in person. Let me know if I can help.
Cheers,
Rich
Like this? I love my pro missiles.

I don’t suppose you have pics of the bike, do you?
Those bike are hot.
So whats the word on performance and quality of the bike as the whole? Is there some functionality to the design or is it more for show? It does look vvery nice though
Built mine up and finally rode it today. Went with White Viper, I am comming off of a Look 596. Easy bike to build and the ride was great. On the list to make the Wind Tunnel with Cobb to get some numbers. The frame is Bad Ass!
I met the owner of Ceepo bike at IM Japan. A truly humble gentleman. He was at the run course cheering everyone too!!
I’ll try to post some pics over the weekend of the US bike builds. We will be at Interbike (Booth 431). Here are some detailed pics of the bikes from a photo shoot for the 2010 catalog.
As for the Viper, the bike is designed with maximum aerodynamic in mind but to also turns heads with some of the unique design elements. There are two sections of the bike that do not enhance the aerodynamic and that would be the detail on the seat stays and the front of the seat tube.
We are just now setting up the US dealer network and hope to have additional comments from more owners on the board soon. I personally ride this bike and am extremely impressed with the bikes stiffness, handling, and overall performance. I have been amazed with my ride performance in windy conditions. There have been comments about the surface area of the seat tube area and effects with cross winds. I live and ride in Arizona and anyone who has done IM here, knows about the windy conditions we have. I hammer through headwinds with less effort than before and have not noticed significant enough issues with a cross wind. Obviously I do work for CEEPO Distribution USA, but am more than happy to try and answer any additional questions you have about my own experiences.

I’ll post non marketing pics of more bikes after Interbike.
Great looking bikes, if they are as fast as they look…
