Cedar Rapids bike rental

I’ll be visiting Cedar Rapis, Iowa in July. I’d like to rent a road bike for the couple of weeks I’m there. Nothing fancy, just something to train on. Does anyone know of a bike shop in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area that rents bikes?

Larry,

I think Scheels in Iowa City (at the Coral Ridge Mall) rents some road bikes. They had a Trek 5200 for rent a few weeks back, not sure how much. They have a pretty good bike department for a mass merchandiser.

You should also check with Hall’s in Cedar Rapids. They have been around forever and are very helpful.
