Catlike Helmet in the TOC?

how can Team Cervelo is riding with Catlike helmets if they are illegal in the USA?

As the other thread mentions, Catlike pass CEN but not CPSC. They can’t be sold in the US, but you can buy one and have it shipped to you.

For USAT races, Catlike isn’t legal because it’s not CPSC.

For USAC races, CEN helmets have been legal for the last few years. Starting Jan 1, 2010, USAC will also start requiring CPSC.

I rode with one on this afternoon and as luck would have it I am not in jail. There are a few Euro retailers that will ship to the States. I ordered mine from Prendas, some guy usually keeps one on rotation on ebay but it is HUGELY overpriced.
