I don’t think they make cateye replacements because Tom’s cat could use one (drum thing after one-liner), but I have, and it seems many Slowtwitchers have, the Cateye Astrale, the one with cadence, and we’re all very happy with it. I don’t know how much they are exactly, but there are all sorts of sales right now so you can probably get it in the thirty-dollar range.
Depends what features you want. You can get your basic wired computer for $20-$35 bucks. Or you can get a wireless one with cadence etc for $50-70(all canadian dollars). I use a Sigma on one bike and a VDO on the other and both work well.
I had good success with the Cateye Astrale 8 in the past. I now use the Polar CS200cad
