i have a blackwell research rear wheel and am having issues getting the spacer on for the cassette. it is set up for shimano and i have a shimano cassette but there is a lip on the piece that the cassette goes on that doesn’t allow the spacer on fully; it goes about a quarter of the way down, if that. has anyone had any problems with this or have a way to fix it? any help would be greatly appreciated. the cassette is not snug when it’s put on without it. thanks.
Same thing happened to me when I tried to install an Ultegra “B” type Junior cassette a couple of years ago in that wheel.
The Ultegra 10 speed “B” type cassette works on most 10 speed hubs but NOT on dedicated 10 speed hubs. That particular hub on the BR wheel is a dedicated 10 sp hub.
The “A” type Ultegra cassette may work IMO and a Dura-Ace cassette for sure.

thanks sergio. i was trying to use an ultegra cassette, but i am not sure if it’s an “a” or “b.” sounds like i need to get a dura-ace and all will be grand.
Please check this, but if I recall correctly, Ultegra 10 sp cassettes of the “A” type start with the smaller cog being 11 and 12t. The “B” type cassettes start with the small ring being from 13t to 16t. If you have an Ultegra cassette that starts with a 11 and 12 it will probably fit that hub. The best option I think is using a Dura-Ace cassette.
Good luck!
