I’ve been in Carnacs for years. I can’t imagine a better fit but use a SPD pedal and so my choices are seemingly narrow. The newer Carnac road shoes all seem to have the 3 bolt look pattern and they do not appear as though they would take an adaptor. I checked with one retailer who actually had my 48’s in stock in a Helium but they said no-go with the 2 bolt pedals. I’ve taken a look at Carnac MTB shoes and found one with a carbon sole but could not find the right size. I suppose we’re at the end of the retail cycle and so stock is down everywhere. Rocket 7’s would work but that is some serious coin… Got another idea?
Crank brothers makes a 3 bolt (look pattern) to SPD 2 bolt adapter plate.
