Does anybody know the rake of a QR Carbonaero 650c fork?
I tried Googling for the info, but no luck…
I believe it is something like 38, go to www.rooworld.com click on any bike and then go to years past models and go to geometry.
the offset is 40mm
I have had one on my Merlin Aerial 650 from the time I bought it until I replaced it with the oval concepts A 900 before IMH last yr. Based on the detailed info I had saved in a file from previous Dan Empfeld reviews and comments on it back in 01 I had not switched it out because I hadn’t found anything else that would match up for aero handling. Although it was heavy it was the “best” for handling crosswinds etc. I had saved the spec on it for my own interest. The oval had the same fork rake 40 mm in the 650 and I have actually been very happy with it. It weighs much less and handled well in the IMH winds of 04.
