What is a carbon wedgie?? Please enlighten me

It is basically a tool box with a bottle cage on it laying vertical on top that basically uses the space that a p4 waterbottle uses for ordinary bikes. A little over priced though I think @ 1499.99 each. I would but for around 75.00. There is a website for them.

Not entirely certain, but I know that the grouchy old guys with beards who ride recumbent bikes sometimes refer to conventional bikes as “wedgies.”

1499??? its $139.99 canadian. A little steep i agree, but not insane…

I am back from my 5.25 mile run. Yes I put decimal in wrong place.LOL plus my speliyn suks.
"Tri"ing to hurry out with limited time to run. By the way kids were okay. So dont call divion of family and youth services yet.

Hello all,

The price for a Wedgie is $139.95 Canadian. Since the Wedgie is an integrated water bottle holder and tool box, it replaces two items (a water bottle cage and a tools bag).

I like the idea. The issue of carrying fluids and flat repair materials is the most under-engineered aspect of triathlon bikes.

However, $140 is awfully steep. How about a plastic version that’s heavier and costs a bunch less? I’d buy that in a second.

Retrofit with a bontrager speed bottle on top for longer distance races and custom paint it to match the frame and we are in business.
