Just read a review of the Nike T Speed shoes on Tri Gear Reviews http://www.trigearreview.com/forms/Article.aspx?REVID=215 and the reviewer Kevin Graham writes
“Please note though that the increased rigidity of carbon soles can cause minor stress injuries for some cyclists. Make sure you ease into using carbon soles, don’t go out and hammer away on your first couple of rides. If after trying carbon soles you start to experience pain or discomfort in any part of your legs or feet, try going back to nylon soles for a few weeks to see if it goes away. If it does, sell your carbon soled shoes on eBay.”
I am using a pair of Shimano TR02 and have left foot pain under heel, but also around the back and outside. Has anybody had or heard of this problem? Any suggestions? I used Sidi T1s previously, but they were too tight so crunch my toes.
