Carbon rim and break pad durability

I use Campy Chorus break-pads on my new set of Velomax Tempest II tubular wheelset. After about 200 miles the pads pretty much desintegrate. What kind of pads are people using on carbon breaking surfaces and which once are the most durable.

I don’t care about smooth breaking, feel and stuff just durability.

thanks a bunch

just drag your feet on the ground then, the rims and pads will last forever.

Seriously though I have had good luck with the Corima pads and have even used them on my cyclocross cantilevers in some heavy mud.

Didn’t know corima made cycling shoes.

gracias for the info

switch to koolstop black or the new zipp pads (made by koolstop). The koolstop black are great on carbon and you can use them on your regular wheels too. The zipp pads seem to stop a little better on carbon but are twice as much at around $20 per set. I used to use the stock shimano pads on my nimbles without problems, but on the Zipps my stock pads last one or two rides if i’m lucky

I’m using Koolstop Black, have about 150 race miles on them, and they look good for another 150 at least. Carbon rims chew up everything…
