Use it. Love it.
I just started preparing 1000 to 1500 calorie feed bottles by mixing it with Gatorade endurance and some electrolytes. To my surprise, it’s quite palatable. It doesn’t make the concentrated drink overly sweet at all.
1000 to 1500 cals per bottle?
Yes, not a bad taste at all! I like it!
Love it, been using it all season. For IMWIS on Sunday, I’ll have one bottle containing 1644 calories (six 224 calorie servings of carbo, five 60 calorie servings of gatorade endurance). Very tasty, very energizing.

Great stuff. Do a search and you will find a lot of discussion about it on previous threads.

As a test for a someday attempt at another IM.
HOLY COW! I do about 800 per bottle. I find if I do it to concentrated it creates some serious stomach issues, so I do more bottles, for more dilution. Anyone new to CarboPro, I suggest figuring out how many calories in a bottle work for you, as obviously CCF and I demonstrate what works for some doesn’t work for others!
thats roughly 7 to 8 scoops per bottle. Doesnt that get kinda think?
I use about 8 scoops for about 70 ounces of water per 1/2 im on the bike…roughly 900 cals!
errrrrrrrrrrrr,thick!!! duh
Not that I’m trying to change your plan…but make sure you can handle that beverage when its 85 degrees.
Good luck. See you on Sunday.
Love the stuff. Using it Sunday with the G2 that i have left over from last year. My last hurrah for the GPush product since they went out of business over a year ago. Use about 3 servings (6 scoops) with 3 servings (I think… I have it written down somewhere) of G2 to get just over 900 calories in one bottle, which will get me through the first loop of the bike. Freezing a second bottle with just about the same mix and picking it up at bike SN. Have been mixing it with regular Gatorade as well, and it works just fine, which is what I’ll use when the G2 is used up.

85 degrees?!? Hah!!! I was using it all through this terrible midwest summer. Temps above 90, heat index above 105!! 85 will be like a cool breeze!!
It’s really not that thick; I mean, it’s clearly not water, but it’s thinner than, say, maple syrup, and a lot thinner than gel. I just take a mouthful every 20 minutes and chase it with water.

I used it all summer, racing and training.
I like it mixed with Gatorade. I usually do 2 scoops CP with one Gatorade for about 75g CHO in a bottle for a long ride. drink it slowly. It works.
How big is this bottle (in ounces)?
Just a regular, 28oz bottle. Carbo is pretty amazing stuff. I have to mix it in a big mixing bowl, because it’s too much powder to fit into the bottle. I’m standing there, DUMPING carbo-pro into the bowl; that stuff is so light, six servings is a ton of powder. You think, “This is never going to be drinkable.” But then I add justa little water (~10 oz) and stir it with a whisk. Let it sit a couple of minutes, and then just pour it into the bottle. Magical stuff.

I can get 700 calories into a 7 oz. Fuel Belt bottle. It starts taking on a bit of gel-like quality but goes down much easier. YMMV.
And yes, I know, I could just fill a flask of hammer gel but I’ve already got the Carbo Pro and it is pretty cheap calories.
