I guess I’ll be the voice of dissent. Capo bibs are nice, soft, and well crafted. But after one season, I have 2 bibs that have both stretched out to the point of chafing and discomfort. I’d be surprised if I got more than 25 uses out of each pair before they stretched out. I got far less service from the Capos than any other pair I’ve owned.
I can confirm that the Capo pad is a little thinner and softer than PI. But I also had a problem with the Capo pads creeping in between my cheeks on any ride longer than 30 minutes.
So n=1, Capos aren’t for me, but they’re probably perfect for someone else.
