If you like unique bikes that always get a second look; this is the one for you! Unlike some of the corny USA flag paint schemes I have seen on high end bikes, this one is very attractive and eye catching. I have been racing triathlons for over 4 years and have never seen another one like this. Apparently Cannondale made a very limited number of these frames with this unique paint job and decal package. My understanding is that less than a 1100 were made (including the Multisport frame and traditional road bikes). I bought the unbuilt frame on Ebay and custom built the bike part-by-part. Bike was assembled and maintained by local bike shop (owner used to be Lance Armstrong’s mechanic back in the day).
The bike rides sweet, and is very responsive for quick accelerations and attacks. Lightweight and geared correctly for climbs. This bike is less than 3 years old and has less than 600 miles. Never been crashed or put down. The only minor blems are from the scratches you can’t avoid (since it don’t come with a kickstand!). Carbon seat post, fork and aero bars add to the smooth ride, without the high cost of a full carbon frame. Cannondale set the bench mark for other companies with the Multisport tri-bikes, they can’t be matched dollar for dollar.
I hate to sell this bike, but I have turned my sights towards more road biking and need to sell this one first. It would make a great bike for any category of time trialist or triathlete. Slap on a pair of race wheels and you are ready to go!
