Can any Slice owners please tell me a few measurements…
Im a little torn between a 56 and 58… I have a long inseam for my height (Im 6’05 and my inseam is huge @ 92.7cms) I ride my saddle height at 82.4 on the road.
On the road I will be riding a 58 Himod when the 11s come out… 57.5 TT and a 12 stem
Can someone please tell me the measurement from the Center of BB to the very top of the frame extension?
Also if someone can possibly tell me how long the slice seatpost is, and how much MUST remain in the frame.
The Slice will be for short Time Trials (under 35km) this isn’t going to be a built for a 100km+ Triathlon!
Thanks alot!
Chris
Did you get final resolution on this? I’m 6’-1.5" with a 89cm (35") inseam. What type of bars and saddle to you plan on using, along with your drop?
I would definitely recommend the 58. I am 5’11" with a 33.5" inseam and the 56 is “just right” for me (10 stem). I also ride a 56 Six road bike, which is the best fitting road bike I’ve ever been on (11 stem). This also jibes with cannondale’s recommendation that if you ride a 56 cannondale road bike, you should choose a 56 cannondale tt bike.
Good luck.
I would also look at the 58 before the 56. I have a very similar build to jvinciq and I also ride a 56 Slice.
You should have no issues with the seatpost length, we have a couple of Slices out there with your saddle height or greater. The seatpost should have around 100mm still in the frame from memory, but its really long and has to be cut down a bunch on the smaller sizes.

Another data point for you…
I am just over 6ft tall (183.5cm) and have an cycling inseam of 36in (91.4cm), saddle height of ~79cm and I ride a 56 Slice. I lack torso so much that I had to take the short Slice and put a 7cm stem on it.
I agree with the other and I would start by looking at the 58. I would then ask myself two questions: can I get low enough on the 58, an is the length not too long.
Don’t forget aerobar setup will effect how low you can go, and crank length effects saddle height.
All the best,
-Tim
Hey guys,
I ended up getting the last 58 HiMod Slice that was available!
The bike will have the Fizik Ares saddle, Vision Carbon UCI Legal Basebars, and Vision RBend carbon extensions. I will also be running a 9CM stem on it…
My inseam is extremely long for my height and I notice it alot on the TT bike vs the road where I actually prefer to be more “stretched out” I find myself for time trialing the tighter I can get the more power I can put down…
The build will be the following
Cannondale Slice HiMod 58
Hollowgram 175mm with Ceramic bearings
Zipp Super 9 / 808 (Had it from previous bike)
Campagnolo Record 10s drive train (from previous bike)
Vision Aero setup
Fizik Ares saddle
Should be very comfortable and fit better than my previous bike…
Ill post some pics when I start seeing parts… should get the frame this week!!
