Born in T.O., lived in Bermuda most of my life, and recently transplanted back to Canada (Halifax).
Haven’t done any serious training in 2 years, but I am planning on getting rid of the 20 lbs that have crept on in the meantime (OK, 30 lbs) and doing some racing next year. Looking at an early 1/2 IM, hopefully I can crack 5 hours (5:08 at Ralphs in '03).
hey tri-gear…what’s with Tough gun on your bike? I use their stuff on a daily basis…odd to see their name on a bike.

I´m addicted to running. Through the years I´ve tried many other sports and liked them all, but always ended up running again. I´m too slow for the masters swimming class and am a very slow cyclist, but don´t really care. Mostly I do these things when my joints hurt so much that I can´t run anymore.
My bike was made in the mid to late 1980s, and the manufacturer probably does not exist anymore. It was never repaired after my bike crash last spring, I just went running instead.
Goals for the winter are PRs in 10km and a bunch of long runs. Running in the snow, and also at night, or both together can be a lot of fun. Especially in the forest.

I have worked for Tregaskiss for almost 17 years now. They sponsored me to go to IMH this year. So in return, I wore our logos on my uniform and then they had a printer put these temporary logos on my bike. They just peeled off afterwards which was cool. It’s actually an Argon 18 Mercury.

Ok: born in Cornwall Ontario, grew up near High Park in Toronto, lived in Bradford, Guelph and Paris, then moved to Victoria BC in 2001.
Been in the sport since 1989. Coaching full time now, in Victoria and online. Married to a triathlete, we met at a training camp in 1996. Have one chihuahua named Napoleon, and two cats, Kathmandu and Kharma. Last triathlon was too long ago, so I plan on actually racing again this year. I have a kestrel airfoil pro waiting to be built up.

Reside in Vancouver, BC (which has been ranked #1 as the best place in the world to live). Having said that, it is pissing rain right now.
Completed 3 Ironman Canadas and DNFed Ironman CDA. Wife has done Ironman Canada with me, and she is in better shape than me.
Currently training sporadically, as I have a busy day job as well as a little boy. Do stand-up comedy on the sidelines which eats into my spare time.

John (44) in Pickering. Married to a lovely woman who s,b,r’s as well but has not raced. Trying to get her to do Multiman this year. We have kids (lots), dog, rabbit, bird, race car (on the blocks so I can buy a nicer bike). All our kids are competitive swimmers and I got here when my son challenged me to do a tri together with him.
I swim in the same pool as Tri-ing in TO. Note that I didn’t say we swim together, because he swims in the fast lanes and I…Well, lets just say that I do not. He also told me about Multiman and I’m looking forward to making it a family affair, just have to get everyone else aboard.

Still trying to get the Aerobars done up that I designed. We do not have a CNC machine but the lathe and mill make a lot of cool things. What do you need done up.
So far from the shop. Shims for seat posts, new modified clamp for Profile Aqua-rack to fit Cervelo Dual Post, Modified Syntace C2’s (cut down, slotted for internal cables, 6061T6 pipe for custom straight extensions. It is pretty good.
