Canadian Army Run (Half Marathon): Soldier with Prosthetic beats me!

The guy with the prosthetic was amazing…very smooth and quiet and very symmetrical, which you can imagine would be hard. As for advice on how to get faster running, there is no magic…more volume more consistency, more fast pace stuff. My personal belief is long runs are less important than aggregate mileage especially if your longest race is 13.1 miles, but that’s a different discussion altogeher. The only time I ran longer than a half marathon this year was at IMLP when I had to do 2xhalf marathons (well, I ran, one and shuffled another).
