those that have done ironman canada…is the road surface smooth or is it rough? thanks! jr
smooth - one section on McClean Creek road is a little rough but you will be climbing slow. About 1/2 mile of rough from what I remember.
as per summit’d advice - generally good roads, smooth other than McLean Creek.
seem to recall a couple of bits (very short) of the out and back being rough as well - but haven’t been up this year so may be wrong
