Can anyone ID what model/year this Powertap is? This is the only photo I have from the seller.
If it isn’t brand new it would likely a power tap Comp. The Power Tap pro had a yellow end cap and the SL had a black end cap.

It could be several. Here is the timeline to go by.
Original Tune(?) hub. Has a greyish hub body instead of a chrome one. Poor quality- avoid.
Cycleops Powertap -black battery cover, chrome body
Cycleops Powertap pro introduced (yellow cpu instead of black)
PT Pro starts shipping w/ yellow battery cover for the hub
Both Powertap Standard and Pro start being shipped with a yellow cover.
Now here’s the deal. There is NO difference between any of these (except the grey one) at the HUB.
The big changes come from the computer that it ships with. That’s what you need a picture of. Or email the seller asking what firmware it says when it starts up. If it says Pro 2.xxx, Pro 4,xx or something it’s a pro. If it doesn’t say pro, it’s not a pro.
Oh, and definitely not a Comp. That (the comp) looks like the SL through SL+ (both have carbon windows and the new hub shape), only it’s heavier.

Seems you can get almost anything off eBay. Steer toward the yellow wired cpu’s over the black. And there are several generations of these. Don’t forget you also need the wiring harness and a download cradle if you are buying it by the piece. You may find a full package is cheaper in the long run (then again, I don’t know what your seller is asking…)
