I’m not asking for a debate on the merits of vaccines. I’m fully vaccinated, my kids are fully vaccinated. I’m asking why we can’t talk about the vaccine program.
The conflict of interest and erosion of personal liberty appears significant to me. I’ve seen corruption. I’ve seen bureaucracy. The amount of money and bureaucracy here is significant. But my most significant concern is the narrative. Mainstream media appears reluctant to engage in the debate and feels like a vessel for the controlling agenda. The Censorship is real. That combination scares me, as the Individual and collective consequences are significant.
Why is a county founded on personal liberty so willing to defer on the issue of what we put in our bodies? Why are questions dismissed and Skepticism ridiculed? Are we all sheep in the modern equivalent of an Animal Farm, manipulated by the farmer acting in their own self interest? These may be perceived as rhetorical questions, but I’m sincerely interested in sincere answers. Have you thought about the issue and come to a rational conclusion?
Or, do you just dismiss the questions and defer to the medical industry to consider and answer these questions for you?
For those of you with an open mind and a healthy view of skepticism, what do you think of the attached article? Does it produce pause for thought? Are there some valid points you’d like to see addressed?

Preach it brother, I go with Jenny McCarthy any day over those 95% of the medical community that seem pretty settled on this. While we are at it, why the hell do we have to stop at red lights anyway, talk about taking our liberties away, and don’t even get me started on seat belts???
I have watched some interviews with Kennedy, and yes he has some points. But they are no more relevant than the usual medicare fraud, or the doctors that take kick backs from drug companies, and no where near in the league of the opioid epidemic. the one that has been created and fueled by the medical establishment, along with the drug companies.
SO I only have so much outrage in this area, and the anti vaxxers use this guy for their agenda, so his story gets muddled. I abhor fraud, bribery, and misinformation wherever it rears itself, just this one is way down on my list…Sorry for the sarcasm, you are right, it is a topic to be discussed somewhere…
Interesting article. I’m not the only person that believes Big Pharma needs to be reigned in but $$$ talks…so I don’t expect change. I also think that there are cases where a vaccine that is safe for 98% of the receivers may not be safe for the other 2%, but how do you know? Maybe some day there will be a test that will help determine if an unborn fetus is more prone to autism or XXX. If a parent knew their kid had a greater chance of autism would it be bad of them to abort? That’s a entirely different discussion but it is tied to the vaccine issue.
But then schools, businesses, private and public venues don’t have to allow unvaccinated people to enter.
Freedom goes both ways.
All the research and statistics on vaccines are readily available. It’s no secret. If you have questions, you’re free to examine the evidence yourself. Nobody is hiding anything.

No. If someone posted an article about how the earth was flat, I wouldn’t blink if that was removed from a site. I guess the illuminati have brainwashed me into thinking the earth is round and orbits the sun.

Mainstream media irresponsibly gave credibility and a microphone to Andrew Wakefield for years, causing great harm. At least it had the side benefit of his being properly scrutinized and having his work pulled. Thankfully the media has cleaned up its act a little bit since then.
I also think that there are cases where a vaccine that is safe for 98% of the receivers may not be safe for the other 2%, but how do you know?Well, in some cases we do know. Babies can’t get vaccines on the day they are born - we wait until they are older. And people with compromised immune systems, etc might be told to avoid certain ones. They are the ones who should get medical exemptions.
And that’s exactly why it is important for everyone else to get vaccinated. There are vulnerable people who can be harmed when diseases start taking hold – especially ones that spread like wildfire like measles.
They put everyone at risk. Even vaccinated people. In some rare cases, vaccinated people have lost immunity and have gotten infected by carriers.
My skepticism of the media is new, and extends beyond this issue. I don’t see much journalistic integrity these days. The demise of print journalism is a serious issue I’m just beginning to see. Social media’s echo chamber affect is real.
For example, the article that inspired my OP came from the Epoch Times. I recently subscribed because I’m interested in alternative view points. Some of the content is disappointing, but some content does make me question what I see mainstream.

I’m much more concerned about other critical medicines like insulin which has become outrageously expensive even though the product hasn’t changed much.

But we don’t have to rely on the media for this. There are years of science, medicine, and evidence behind the safety and efficacy of vaccines.
As noted, we know who is at risk. And those claiming they are not safe have essentially no reliable evidence at all to back their claims.
I have a very high degree of skepticism with the medical community because of their close links to Big Pharma. I personally know a doctor fighting the establishment over this issue and he is constantly muzzled and is one of a very few willing to stand up. The medical establishment and big money are way too closely linked and it should concern everyone.
