I am in the process of setting up my Oval a900 bars, they are pretty sweet but the aero extensions are a bit long and I don’t really like the double bend in them. I am thinking of cutting them off at the start of the second bend. The extensions have an alloy piece on the ends of them that you insert the bar-end shifters into, this would be cut off and I’d have to insert the bar-ends into the carbon which may not have the correct inner diameter, if I Dremmel it out it may not be strong enough to hold the bar-end… has anyone cut these before? I know you can cut them from the opposite end I am referring to but I want to cut off the second bend portion. Thanks
