A Rev X can’t go out of true without being broken. If the hub is intact, and the spokes are intact, it can’t be out of true, can it? Are you sure that it is installed correctly? Take it off the bike and, holding the hub/axle (not the skewer), spin it. Is it wobbling?
I had one go out of true and everything was intact. Can’t the aluminum rim bend a small amount without the carbon breaking?
Good news, you can pick one up on Ebay for less than $100, probably closer to $50 depending on size and age.
