Evans took 4 seconds out of Contador on the run-in today, so he’s now only 1:50 back.
Yeah, speaking of that - what was Popo doing contesting the sprint (for 5th, no less) instead of closing down that gap and escorting the Kid and Levi to the line safely in the front group? Seemed a little out of character since he’s been riding like a Trojan utterly turning himself inside out like a man possessed sacrificing every last scrap of from his suitcase of courage for those dudes up until now. My goodness me.
