I want to attend a local cycling class and take my Computrainer along. I wondered if it can be used without power, I don’t want to damage any of the internals, I also wondered if there will be enough resistance without any power.
Any one tried this who can give me their thoughts.
I don’t think it’s a good idea. I’ve heard there are some powered cooling mechanisms in there that could overheat if you use it without it being on. That said, I used to do it occasionally (for example to do short brick workouts at the track), and it worked okay…
