Can I swap vuka shift extensions with my T2 ones?

Wonder if they will work or if I need to buy the vuka bodies as well?

No, the Zipp extension diameter is 22.0, while the Profile extension diameter is 22.2. So you would not be able to properly tighten the Zipp extension in the Profile clamp.

isn’t .2mm about the thickness of a piece of paper?

that should be about an extra 1/8th of a turn on the bolt…

Thanks, that is enough of a difference for me.

I would go with the soda can instead.

They’re just not designed to work together. The Profile extension is reinforced along the length to not only accomodate being clamped to to the bars, but also to have the forearm rest clamped to them. The Zipp extension is designed to be inserted into the Vuka Clip, which tightens more evenly along the length. I wouldn’t want to put the clamping stress of the T2 design on a lightweight carbon extension that wasn’t designed to be clamped in the same way and is not even exactly the same diameter.

It’s a $250 experiment with equipment that is listed by the respective manufacturers as being out of spec.
