These splits are Clas Bjorling’s from IMNZ when he blew past Bjorn and ran out of real estate to close on Cam Brown. Today, Clas is one of the few to run a sub 1:30 first half marathon and he is only 9 min out at 8:13 into the race. On second thought, he’s gonna need a sub 1:20 second half marathon to win with a 9 min deficit.

If tri was run-bike-swim, you’d be hearing all about Clas and not much about Bjorn :slight_smile:

I guess at the half, the other guys ran 1:29, 1:34 and 1:36, so Clas has a legit shot at second cause no one gets faster in the second half.
