Campy, where to get

I’m building a new TT bike with campy stuff. I want to optimize performance/price.

One way to do it, is to get 03 stuff but where to find?

Or go with lower level, like Veloce, what are the experiences with that?

PS: excelsports.com is out of the question, they where so unfriendly it’s discusting, and on top of that, they have lots of 03 sutff listed on their website but when you ask they have nothing, nada, cip…

You still may be able to get a deal at www.totalcycling.com, but it depends on the exchange rate.

I have a mix of all sorts of Campy between my bikes, Veloce, Centaur, Chorus and Record. My TT bike is built with Record bar end shifters, Chorus cranks, Centaur front and rear derailleurs, and Veloce brakes. The Veloce brakes are fine, but the brake pads should be replaced since the stock ones seemed to suck - I use kool stop black pads and the bike stops just fine now. The centaur derailleurs are great, I have been using them on different bikes for three years now and never had any problems with them

I will probably swap out the cranks for FSAs at some point - I like their Q factor better and they are what I have on my road bike.

I use Mirage stuff on my commuter bike and I’ve been real happy with it. Check www.repartocorse.com for good prices.

John,

do all the FSA 10sp cranksets work with all Campy 10sp systems?

and with DA10sp?

thanks

Check out glorycycles.com. They have an assortment of campy stuff at good prices.

My carbon pro compacts with ISIS BB work fine with Campy 10. I am probably going to get the non-compact version for the TT bike, sticking with the ISIS BB. The compact 10 speeds also work fine with DA10 - or so I have heard.
