Ok, I am using it on two of my bikes. It works very well, easy access to all functionsvery reliable. I prefer it over the Shimano system which I used on my TT bike for a while. I like the way it is positioned in the center of the bar. You have to reprogram it after changing the battery.
I know many people who love it - I myself do not ride with anything other than HRM as I always got so hung up on MPH over actual training and being fit. I strap on the Polar and that is it…I do know that some people did not like the fact that the cadence deal works best on Campy pedals and I am not at all sure but I think that the cadence feature will not work with Speedplay (and the guy I know that has them put a magnet on his shoe as opposed to the pedal and the system works good for him that way)
I use one and am very happy with it, I also like the way it sits out front of the stem and the way I can change screen / reset counters from the little micro switches on the ergo levers.
To be honest I don’t use a lot of the features, there’s a whole section where you can program it for intervals, setting different countdown times for effort and recovery, never used it though.
I do use it with Campy pedals, which is neat as the magnet sits within the pedal spindle. I can’t see why it won’t work with any other pedal though as they supply another magnet that zip-ties to the crankarm, doesn’t matter what pedals your using.
The only downside I guess is cost and weight (it’s not light)
