I have a bike that has full Campy on it. I would like to take all the groupo off and put it onto another frame. The frame it is on now has 700c wheels. The new frame has 650c wheels. I have 650c wheels for the new frame but the wheel uses a shimano cassette. Will a shimano cassette work with the Campagnolo system?
I´ve done this.
I rode a campy 10speed bike with shimano 10 speed cassette, worked perfectly.
How about a Campy 10 sp cassette with a Shimano 10 sp rig? Does this work? I assume it does, but haven’t tried it yet.
peter white makes a little cam thatfits in and makes the campy shifters work with the shimano derailleurs.
no idea how well it works.

I am sure it works as the old 8 , 9, speed cassettes just needed the proper spacers , between cogs to get campy to work on Shimano ,visesa / versa.
The 10 speed chains with run on older front chain rings .
spacers are only for people who feel better knowing they have them. I have mixed 8 then 9 then 10 between ShimaNO and Campy systems and never put in spacers, I guess I am not that picky. However, a 10 chain really likes 10 speed chain rings…I have on a number of climbs put the 10 chain beteen the 9 chain rings (but I have not changed them cause I can live wiht the rare times it does that)
