Camping at Wildflower

I am racing at Wildflower in a few months and am looking into where to stay/camp. I’ve never been to the race site, but it looks like camping is the best option. With a one year old daughter in tow, I am thinking that renting a small RV/camper might work out well.

Does anyone know the logistics of using a RV/camper at the race site? Any recommendations on renting a camper from the area, we would fly into San Jose or LA most likely.

Thanks!

amazingly, a lot of this information is on the race website.

El Monte RV has a deal going where you can pick up your RV at the race location.

the individual camping spots are first come first serve, you’ll need to get there early (Wed, Thurs AM at the latest) to get a good spot with full hookups. It seems that the times I’ve been there, most of the campers and RV’s are in the Redondo Vista campground (top of the hill as you enter the park), but there are a few scattered in the other areas as well.

Be sure to bring a stroller too… it can be a long hilly walk from the race and expo to the campsite.
