I am doing IM CdA 2010. I am traveling up in my motorhome. Does anyone know of any campgrounds around the area? I will have a vehicle in tow so it will not be necessary to be right on top of the race site.
Thanks in advance!

None exist. Get back to work.
I was thinking the same about you. You either need to get to class or work or somewhere. At the least go ride your bike. Good luck on Sunday if you do the ITT.
We stayed at Blackwell Island RV this year and it was great! Very nice people, right across from the race start, perfect spot.
Dallas.
Thanks!
Most of Idaho is publicly owned (60% or so). Just drive out into the logging roads and “camp” and idahoans do. Find a wide spot in the road and park. I know they have shut down access since I left to some of the easier areas (canfield mountain and such), but there are still plenty of places. You dont have to pay anything.

x2 on Blackwell Island. Very clean and quiet. You have the river on your doorstep and it’s a short bike ride to the start line. The site actually looks better i real life than it does on the website.
It ain’t the fanciest place, but the Cedar Motel and RV park has plenty of RV spots. They also have motel features like indoor plumbing and washers. It’s old and small, but on the plus side they’re really friendly it’s located on both the bike and run courses (bike passes by the front 4x, run passes by the side and rear 4x). Great place for family viewing. The local residents sit out, drink beer, and cheer for everyone staying there, so you get a drunken loud fan club.
