Calories Q

Are there any guidelines for how many calories one should consume per hour when going long? Does this differ with body weight etc?

Definitely varies w/ body weight. I think it can be as little as 250/hr to as much as 750/hr. Everyone’s a little different. I’m sure somebody will post something with specifics.

a good rule of thumb would be 1g CHO/kgBW/hr. so a 70kg person would take in 70g of CHO/hour, which is 280 Calories (1g CHO = 4 Calories).
