Wow that sounds like a positive development. Any of those Mad Cows know where swim would be what about rest of course? I assume pretty much flat heh?

ps: Don’t you think the Mad Cows should change their name in light of that nasty nuerological discease?

Thanks for the info. Davis is a pretty cool place. Yea you guys have a great club (notwithstanding the jersey cow spots!). I can’t say much since my club (www.tridogs.com) is named after a dog. I think it is a tie in with our beer sponsor who has that on the logo. We use the dog…they give us free beer. Sounds fair to me.

That swim sounds questionable. I’ve been to that “lake” in town and it seems more like a glorified pond. Am I wrong? How many loops do they figure for 2.4 miles? Other than that, I hope this event finds some stability–I do worry that now they’ve put it too close to Vineman.

Wait, is this the “lake” off “Lake” blvd? How many laps do they expect you to swim in it?

FYI–Vineman Full is Aug. 14–that makes it an even 5 weeks to Caliman–I liked their October date better, but, who cares, an event is an event–should have the swim in Berryessa and finish in Davis–a cool point to point trip.

Ease up on Fresno brother…lest you forget that it was only a few (ok more than a few) short years ago that the USTS Nationals were held at nearby Bass Lake. Anyone remember when Tinley & Molina held hands and skipped thru the finish chute together so they could split the prize money ('83 I think)?
