The family had just moved in, so no one knew them. I can’t comprehend shooting infants. The bullet hole in my neighbors wall is sobering.
We didn’t hear the gunshots, despite being 100 feet away. The CSI team was there all of yesterday.

On my moring run on Monday I offered a Starbucks run to the police officers that were blocking access to the area. I don’t understand how police can deal with seeing a crime scene like that… The kids aspect just destroys me now that I’m a father.
I’m with you brother. I recently became a father (19 month old twins) and I can’t stand to watch any of the crime shows anymore when their is even a hint of a child/infant/baby being abused or neglected or killed. I usually get up and go check on my boys just to make sure everything is alright.
Before the kids, I would not have given it much thought.

More than anything else. Harming a child in any way is incomprehensible.
The latest news is that the shooter bought a .45 6 weeks ago and then purchased another 1 week ago. He had a “quarrel” with his brother in law. He waited until his brother in laws family was at his house for a house warming party. Then he preceded to shoot everyone in the house with both .45’s. Pre-meditated murder of two families with children/infants. Oh yeah, he was a software engineer for Yahoo. I’m starting to think that coding is the new version of “going postal”.
