Now that my major source of calcium (ice cream) is off the list, what’s the best form of calcium supplements to take?
Milk is the best source for calcium that will actually absorb and not just wash through you. Ice cream is an excellent source of sugar…But, you were obviously aware of that.

How about cottage/ricotta cheese (low or nonfat, of course!). You could also increase broccoli consumption.
Non-fat cottage cheese, non-fat yogurt, tofu, almonds, sesame seeds, beans (all types), dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, dried figs, lentils…
