Cake vs Candles

Okay here is a question for everybody as it relates to your view on the economy as a whole.

Imagine a birthday cake. Which does a better job of describing the economy, the cake or the candles. More to the point, the cake is a fixed item that can be divided up. The candles are the flame, that can be expanded and can grow.

What kind of candles do you use? Mine burn down and get wax all over a perfectly good cake. If I could have one or the other you bet your ass it would be the cake.

Just as long as there is no Cap and Trade(tax) on the candles.

Locke, honey, put away the credit card and go home. You can’t afford the cake or the candles until you get that balance paid off.

No shit!

The candles. Each burning independently. That’s scary.
