Too bad, as one woman’s lawyer stated, she can’t speak because of the gag-order from the settlement. She wants to speak to defend herself against his slander of her and the other woman.
Why won’t Cain press the Restaurant Association to let the women speak so he can be proved innocent? Come on Cain, those allegations weren’t true, after all.
According to Cain and the GOP, any woman can make a frivolous claim of harassment and get a pay out because it is so much easier for a company to pay unsubstantiated claims for sexual harassment against it’s executive than it is to fight the allegations. rolls (((eyes)))

The more the story plays, the less it looks like Cain did anything. BTW it also works great for the accusers (the press in this case) to have to keep sources anonymous. If Cain is the type, I’d expect a stream of them to come forth from a lifetime of being in various jobs and many positions of power. The only specific I’ve heard about his behavior:

Also, at least one woman, through her lawyer, has indicated that she would like to go public with her side of the story.
Not debating the story as employees making accusations and getting paid off is pretty common but an employee could be looking at a big pay day if they think they might get some hush money.
And the woman mentioned can’t go public because of her confidentiality agreement
Was just reading a story this morning in the paper. One of the women apparently wants to talk, but is bound by a confidentiality agreement as part of her settlement. She has her lawyer out trying to figure out what she can do. That should be interesting.
YaHey, judging by the number of scurrilous threads you’ve launched against him, it’s obvious that Cain is your worst nightmare. I had a negative initial impression of the guy, but if he bothers you that much, I’ll take a second look. He might be better than I thought.
Actually, Cain would be my dream GOP nominee to run against Obama. Unfortunately for coCain, he cannot stop talking. He actually believes his own crap. The offshore odds have him as a long shot even for the nomination. He’s such a long shot that a few days ago they had him tied with people who are not even running - like Hillary Clinton. Frankly he doesn’t stand a prayer, so now I’m just having a field day with the best-the-GOP-can-muster and enjoying the right side of ST in how they come to the defense of a work place sexual harrasser with “everyone is doing it”, “it happens to every executive”, “look over there it’s Clinton”, “technology lynching (get the race card bit?)”, “it’s because he threatens the Dems (no, this is his GOP rivals kicking his ass)”, “it’s because he’s successful (no, it’s because he can’t remember important shit like when employees filed SERIOUS allegations against him, which he now downplays)”
