Hi gang
Man am I glad I found this forum… I’ve had this burning question all season long about triathlon cadence and hopefully, some of you here can offer some feedback.
I’ve been told by someone who many moons ago used to be a cyclist that I pedal too fast - meaning, I am always in the wrong gear. He mentioned that when I find myself riding along in any given gear, to increase the gear (make it a slower pedal) and train at that level…
So my question is… what do you guys think about the whole triathlon cadence/energy conservation for the run leg of the triathlon? For the sake of the argument, let’s assume we’re talking about a flat course (I know cadence/gear varies based on terrain)
Thanks!
