I’m trying to figure out how to buy a bike via telephone and internet in such a way that both buyer (myself) and seller will feel comfortable with the transaction. I’m assuming that escrow might be best. Anyone have recommendations of escrow service provider or other ways of managing this kind of transaction. This is not an ebay purchase, so paypal buyer protection doesn’t work (I think).
