I thought I read somewhere that yes some of the email contained child porn but were unopened or looked by anyone at info wars. Meaning they turned over 1000s of emails, many of which were not opened and some of those contained child porn and other forms of malware.
It’s true, this is a salacious non-story.

I don’t think this would be a story if jones didn’t attack the sandy hook lawyers on his show based on the documents he produced.
If the sandy hook lawyers saw child porn in the documents they received, they should probably report it.

Not to get too technical, but “malware” is malicious software and child porn is sexually exploitative pictures of underage children. They are nothing alike.
Also what you’re relaying is the Jones party line. It may be the truth. Or it may not be. Sounds plausible. Also there’s no way to prove that an email was “never opened.” Just because it’s marked “unread” doesn’t mean it is.

It was in the metadata and the FBI is… the FBI gets very frowny faced when it comes to kiddie porn so if there is anything to this Jones will be charged and if not then whomever sent it to Jones hopefully left enough of a trail that the FBI can pay them a visit.

I dont think metadata can actually have the pictures, maybe embedded links (I am not up to date on what actually metadata can have. I guess thumbnails?). My understanding is that: 1) FBI asked for emails, 2) infowars gave them a bunch of emails (some of which included people sending child porn to infowars, Jones not knowing about them), 3) Jones attacks sandy hook lawyers. 4) It becomes a story.

Just relaying what I read. :o) I guess my wording was wrong… the emails contained kid pron AND some had malware. I think it even said malware was embedded in the porn…
