Burnin' a hole

I feel really bad… I’m racing Kona this year on a four year-old bike, in six year-old shoes, with a three year-old helmet… I simply have to show up in something new… any ideas?

hey, i’m going to sell my moutain bike and pink helmet!
they’re both new.

what? these aren’t appropriate for Kona?

lol…

In my experience a little bit of preparation H will relieve the burnin’ a hole in a few hours.

You need to warn a guy before doing that. I just spit water all over my keyboard. Awesome catch!

MuffinTop- that was priceless!

Baselbutt- Exactly how bad do 6 year old cycling shoes smell?

Did you qualify using something newer than what you have now?

I only ask, because you always feel like somewhat of a wanker showing up at Kona without a new somethingorother…

Shoes smell fine after 6 years… they’re a bit beat up, but they fit…

Ok, then sweet new sunglasses. You’ll look badass

Well then, show up with a new tattoo…that will do the trick!

Or, you could do like I did in 2004 and have UPS crush your wheels in transit so you have to buy a new set…!

Seriously…have fun and enjoy it.

OK, well, your equipment has served you just fine then (unless you got lucky with a lottery entry).

I’ll agree with Jodi - just get some swanky new Oakly Flak Jackets with Fire Iridium lenses with their cool new hydrophobic coating. Sweat/water literally rolls off! And that will come in handy up/down the Queen K

Hehe, I have to admit that’s what I thought he was talking about!

Duct tape a Slurpee cup to your handlebars.
