One of the greatest movie villains of all times.
RIP.

I don’t think Jaws ever spoke either, so I figured we were all just respecting his silence.

I think he spoke in the classic movie, Happy Gilmore.
Local boy. Lived in Oakhurst, which is about mid way between Fresno and Yosemite.
By all accounts a super nice man that lived in constant pain.
I thought he already died in 1977. Didn’t Bond kill him in that movie?
Guns don’t kill people. He kills people.

Jaws escapes from Drax’s disintegrating space station in an escape pod with his girlfriend; they open a bottle of champagne, and Jaws speaks his only line in the entire franchise: “Well, here’s to us.”

I was at Olive Garden in Fresno with my girlfriend enjoying a drink at the bar. She got up to use the restroom. He sat down on her bar stool. I had to ask him to get up as the seat was taken. I’m only 5’3", he’s just over 7’. He was nice and got up, but I was a bit scared he might bite me ;).
Not a word when Abe Vigoda passed away either.

Then who was that big guy who said to Gomez, “You rang?”

By the way, no one saw the remake so no need to distinguish the two movies.
