the french are funny they have 4 males at their home race and 5 abroad ( I guess they will sub in bergere)
and to milk the drama a bit is beaugrand afraid to race in germany lol ( iam just joking)
male race has everybody in it , 57th place in world ranking is first on the waiting list
and for females 61rst that is strong.

I’ll bet that she got a spot for the Monaco Diamond League which is on the same day as Hamburg. The programme only has 3000m for women. She’s mentioned that another world title is not her priority this year. She also said that running in Monaco has always been a dream for her.

I was looking at the start list for the European champs this weekend.I ‘m a bit confused that Harry Leleu has a start number above Oliver Conway.
Anybody know what ranking they use for European start lists ?

solid chance to break the French 3 k record by 10 seconds.
Very exciting especially with Faith Kipyegon running too. She almost broke the 3000m record almost at the same time last year so this could be another WR attempt. Jimmy Gressier willl also go for the French 5000m record. Then there’s the 800m where Cooper Lutkenhaus is an absolute phenom. The DL races have been honestly great this year.
